In 2022 Killhope Museum commissioned The Rock Showman to create a temporary exhibition exploring the story of Spar Boxes and local Mining Geoheritage. Our STEAM team designed an installation to fit one of the  yurts that would provide a weather-proof experience as part of the living museum. Designed to be immersive, experiential and interactive, the exhibition takes public groups through a journey of exploration using candle-power, electricity and ultraviolet light. Incorporating science, storytelling, technology and mining history in this immersive way was such a crowd pleaser that the venue was recommissioned for 2023.
